BMW has recently revealed another future addition to its SUV line-up to slot between the BMW X1 and BMW X3, the concept BMW X2. The new model was recently unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, making it the “third Sports Activity Coupe” to be launched by BMW following the BMW X6 and BMW X4 models.

According to design boss Adrian van Hooydonk, “the concept BMW X2 is designed as a vehicle that combines enjoyment with practicality and combines the fast-moving body language and low-slung proportions of a coupe with the robust construction of an BMW X2 model”.

Details about the engine are yet to be released, and therefore all that all that can be commented on so far is the distinctive design features. The design concept “looks dramatic”; a large kidney grille with LED headlights, wide wheel arches which “add some muscle”, blacked out windows and a centrally mounted BMW badge make the BMW X2 look very sleek whilst adding more practicality to the this new model according to Auto Express.
